RECRUITMENT PROGRAMME PAKISTAN RANGERS (SINDH)
1. Vacant posts (male only) in Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) will be filled on merit basis in the light of SI No 3.15 ESTA Code (Edition 2015), Pakistan Rangers Recruitment Rules 1968 and prescribed instructions on the subject as per following

2. Procedure for Apply. Online registration will be started through Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) website with effect from 17-23 July 2022. Interested candidates may register themselves online through website. Shortlisted candidates will report to their selected locations on given dates at 0600 hours informed through SMS from “SINDHRANGER” alongwith online registration slip for physical test, verification of documents, initial medical and written test (candidates to bring along PT shoes & writing material). No entry without online registration slip.
3. Place / Date of Recruitment. Recruitment will be carried out at following locations by recruitment teams as per schedule noted against each. Irrespective of Province / Region, candidates are at liberty to appear at any nearby location as per convenience:-

4. Requirement of Documents. Following documents will be provided by the candidates at the time of physical registration:-
a. Original Education Sanads / Certificates / Degrees alongwith 2 x photocopies. In case of 8th class passed, School Leaving Certificate should be verified by concerned District Education Officer.
b. Original Computerized National Identity Card issued by NADRA alongwith 2 x photocopies.
c. Original Domicile / Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) alongwith 2 x photocopies.
d. 4 x Coloured passport size photographs duly attested.
e. In case of a candidate already serving in any Government / Semi Government Department, No Objection Certificate (NOC) duly signed by the Head of concerned Department will be provided in original at the time of initial registration (no entry without NOC).
5. Minimum Education Standards / Eligibility.

c. Havildar / Naik General Duty (Direct Entrant) Matric or equivalent
d. Sepoy Clerk (Direct Entrant) FA / FSc with one year Computer Diploma in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
e. Sepoy General Duty, Sepoy Cook, Sepoy Mess Waiter and Sepoy Misalchi 8th Class (Passed)
f. Non Combatants Enrolled (NCsE) Washerman, Plumber, Electrician, Carpenter, Mason, Painter and Sanitary Workers 8th Class Passed (except Sanitary Workers)
5th Class Passed (Sanitary Workers Only)
6. Physical Standards.
a. Height. Minimum 5’-6” (5 feet and 6 inches). (Preference will be given to taller candidates in final selection).
b. Chest. 33” inch (including 1 ½ inch expansion).
c. Weight. Minimum 121 Lbs (55 kilo grams approximately) and maximum as per BMI.
d. Initial / final medical examinations.
7. Age Limit. Minimum 18 years age as on 31 August 2022 and maximum 30 years age (including 5 years age relaxation given by the Government) will be applicable. (Preference will be given to younger candidates keeping in view the nature of duty).
8. Citizenship. Pakistani (Male).
.Ineligibility. Candidates with following criteria are ineligible:-
a. Removal / dismissal / debarred from any Government Department or Pakistan Rangers on grounds of discipline.
b. Convicted from any Court of Law.
c. Previously declared medical unfit from Pakistan Rangers or any other Government Department.
d. Removed / Dismissed / Dispensed with service from Pakistan Rangers in case of bogus / forged education certificates.
e. Retired / Discharged from Pakistan Rangers at own request / Dispensed from service during training.
f. Candidates appearing for initial registration without No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Head of the Department of Government / Semi Government Department serving with.
g. Candidates already serving in Armed Forces / Civil Armed Forces and are Overstay Leave (OSL) / Absent Without Leave (AWOL) from the Department / Organization.
h. Difference / variation / tempering in date of birth and names mentioned in computerized National Identity Card and education certificates / documents etc.
10. Mode of Selection
a. Registrations Processing Fee - Rs.500/- (non-refundable) will be paid by the candidate. (BPS-5 & above only).
b. Initial Medical Examination - No fee for initial med examination will be charged.
c. Physical test - Candidates to bring along Joggers / PT shoes for PT test. No written / physical test will be held for Non Combatants Enrolled (NCsE) category.
d. Written test - Candidates to bring writing material for written test.
e. Psychological tests / Interviews- Psychological tests / interviews will be held at Training Centre and School Pakistan Rangers (Sindh).
f. Final Selection - As per criteria / merit at Headquarters Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) Karachi.
g. Final medical examination · Final medical examination will be held at Sindh Rangers Hospital Karachi and fee will be paid by the candidates.
· Psychological tests, ECG, Lab tests and Chest X-ray of finally selected candidates will be taken during final medical examination.
h. Call letters - Final medically fit candidates will be issued with call letters to join training.
11. Training. Finally selected candidates will have to undergo initial training at Training Centre and School Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) Super Highway Toll Plaza, Karachi.
12. Pay and Allowances (Selected Candidates)

b. Allowances. As per existing rules / authorization.
c. Accommodation. Free accommodation and house rent allowance for married person @ 30% on Basic Pay Scale and @ 45% of Basic Pay Scale at Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur.
d. During recruitment process no TA / DA will be admissible.
13. Following to be ensured by all:-
a. Approval of final selection by the Director General of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh), However no contact with any Rangers personnel & civilian regarding enrollment.
b. This recruitment will be considered temporary, until the verification of all relevant documents and final approval of Competent Authority.
c. If documents of any candidate are found bogus / forged at any stage, the individual will be dispensed with from service and legal action will be taken against him.
d. Interference (Sifarish) of any kind during recruitment process will not be entertained. Absolute merit based enrollment / recruitment of eligible candidates will be carried out.
e. Fraud, plagiarism or any other illegal conduct during the screening test will be immediately excluded from the recruitment process.
14. Precautions Against COVID-19 During Recruitment Process. As a protection against COVID-19, following to be ensured by all:-
a. No entry without COVID-19 vaccination certificate issued by NADRA.
b. Use of face masks and minimum six feet social distancing.
c. Individuals having symptoms of cold, cough or fever must avoid to report for recruitment.
d. Handshakes / embracing is forbidden. (Screening will be done at entry point).
e. Known symptomatic cases must avoid to report for recruitment.
